The Center After School Program, Inc. is located in the middle of the community known as Mason Square. We are committed to helping the community with child development by enhancing education for school aged children. The Center focuses on children from kindergarten through eighth grade. We provide positive guidance, high quality out of school care which promotes their emotional and social development as well as academic achievement.
Our fully qualified staff has undergone training in CPR/First Aid Certifications and have an expertise working with children. The center is a licensed program with the Department of Early Education and Care. The Department of Early Education offers child guidance technical assistance to all licensed programs which allows us to help families, enhance training, stay updated on new laws and regulations and access CORI Background Check for all staff including the licensee.
The Center is also a referral agency to help families who need additional assistance with housing, food and clothing. We offer year round child development programs for children ages five to thirteen years of age. The Center’s Summer Camp must comply with regulations of the Massachusetts Department of Public Health and is Licensed by the Springfield, MA board of Health. We provide homework tutorial, healthy snacks, lunch, music, cooking classes, day trips to the library, reading, writing and math enrichments, sports and karate class just to name a few. Transportation to and from the program is also available.

Transportation rates: $12.00 one-way, $18.00 two-way
Changes Effective February 1, 2024
Rates provided by Department of Early Education and Care for all children attending the program. Parents with vouchers, fees are determined by Seven Hill Foundation Childcare Resources.
