Alethea A. Stevenson and Althea R. Haines are the founders of The Center After School Program INC. The Center After School Program is a licensed school aged program for children ages 5-13 Years Old with The Department of Early Education and Care. We provide Before and After School Care, with transportation provided. We also run a Summer Day Camp, also licensed with The Health and Human Services of Massachusetts. We also provided services for The Department of Children and Families with Subsidies Summer Camp Slots. Alethea Stevenson and Althea Haines are Alumni of Springfield College 15’ and 16’ majoring in Education and Psychology.
In 2004 The Center was created Our mission is to provide exemplary service to the parents, children and community so as to ensure the social and academic development of our collective future. We believe all children have strengths and talents; our job is to help them to discover what already exists within them. The Center includes programs such as Homework & Tutoring Help, Music and Arts, Sports & Recreational, Nutrition, Mentoring & Financial Classes, Toy Drive for The Springfield Area, Volunteering at Local Shelters, College Tours, Cooking Class, Day Field Trips to Library & Museums, Etc.,
In 2008 Alethea Stevenson and Althea Haines launched Success Temps from 2008 to 2013. Success Temps Agency was designed in mind to decrease unemployment rates, decrease crime, and enhance the quality of life in the community by compelling individuals to seek financial security.
The Center currently employs over 15 employees, provides Transportation, Have made many donations to local charities, foundations such as Stone Soul, Indi Soul Fest, I found Light Against All Odds, Post University’s, Lady Ballers, SYF Football .Etc… The Center’s Logo is Working Together is The Key!!
The Center Future Plans is to expand our current services and to provide more jobs!!
